You guys, I love teaching and all, but
there are a million things I’d rather do this afternoon than try to keep a grown-up face while talking about Tension and Climax in the short stories of Flannery O’Connor. Which is why I’m going to take my students on a surprise field trip to see Lynda Barry talk about cartooning and myopia and spaghetti.
